New goodness on eBay this week!

I listed to auction and to fixed price this week, and I didn't even really make a dent in the mountain of stuff that's waiting to be listed... I've been shopping like crazy this Spring! Hopefully I'll be getting a lot more of it up over the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned. :) I won't show off everything I listed here, just some of my favorites - click on over if you want to see everything!

Antique Mall Booth Update - March and April 2014

I know, I'm very, very late posting a booth update - I'm sorry, things have been crazy lately! But here I am now, ready to dish... :) First up, photos of my booth from April:


The short story is March was OK, and April sucked - even though I ran a two week 25% off sale at the end of the month.

There is some good news... my neighbor behind me installed new shelves, effectively creating a back wall for me, just like the shelf wall I have on the right side of my booth. So I don't need to go through the trouble and expense of building a new pegboard wall, like I had planned. Yay!

 The other good news is that the mall is extending their hours until 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays for the summer. Here's hoping it helps... I need all the help I can get at this point... :P

Help! Are these Sam Avedon plastic chairs?


These lime green plastic beauties found their way home with me today! After a bit of searching around online, I am leaning toward them being by Sam Avedon for Alladin, from the early 1960's. The trouble is the only marking I can find on either of them is a small capital letter A. Nothing else! Anyone out there know anything about them? Any help is most appreciated... (They are destined for my antique mall booth, of course!)

New goodness on eBay and Etsy - MORE school posters!

Yesterday I finally listed the last of the school posters I unearthed a couple of weeks ago. I don't know how many listings total I did - maybe 100? It was a LOT. If you missed my first post about them, you can find it here.

I listed most of them on Etsy, but I put a few in my eBay store as well - I've never listed individual posters there before, and since I had so many of them I thought it would be a good time to try some.

New goodness on Etsy - vintage school posters!

So, I dug out a box of paper that I apparently stashed away on a shelf back in 2012. Yes, 2012. When I say my stockpile of paper is never ending, I'm not exaggerating! ;) Anyway, I would say the box was about 80% school posters, which I started to list on Etsy this week. I haven't decided yet what to do with the rest of them, if I will list them individually on Etsy like I did these, or if I will lot them up and put them on eBay. I'm going to get that box emptied out one way or the other though!
