I am working on the April issue of the Vintage Goodness newsletter - this one is all about vintage style decorating - more specifically, resources that can help you find out what real people did to decorate their homes back in the day. You would be surprised at the variety of sources you can turn to that will give you a great education on the period that you are interested in!

I'm working on the newest, re-vamped issue of my email newsletter as we speak! I got sidelined by the 1/2 off eBay auction listing fee sale yesterday, so I am a little behind, but I should have it out to everyone tomorrow. Here's a peek at what's inside:

Christmas Craft Books Winner + Newsletter Ideas

I got some outstanding suggestions for newsletter content from everyone who entered - thanks so much for your ideas, you don't know how much I appreciate them! Here are some of my favorites:

- How long have I been interested in vintage finds and what got me started
- What do I consider an "excellent vintage find" in several different areas
- History of mid-century modern items and designers
- Recommendations on price guide books - which are worth using?
- Featured vintage china patterns with history
- Vintage bathroom decor
- Vintage eyeglasses

You guys really came through with a ton of awesome ideas! I hope to address all of these (and more!) in the newsletter.

I think I am going to try to send them out every 2 weeks, on the 1st and the 15th of the month. I'm working on a new format, using the ideas that were sent in plus a few of my own, so that there will be several "sections" of regular content in each issue. So look for the next on on December 1st, with all the new goodness inside! :)

100+ subscribers to my email newsletter?!?

I logged into my MadMimi account today and discovered I now have over 100 subscribers - you guys rock! Talk about feeling guilty about not sending one out in a while (as you can see from my header, the last one was #12 on August 31st - yikes!). I've had writers block, and my pleas for ideas on the Facebook Page didn't get any response... :(

I have to pay $8/mo. now that I have more than 100 people on my list - that's $8 worth of motivation right there! So I'll be sending them out more regularly from now on, I promise. If you have any ideas about what you would like to see me cover in my emails, please leave a comment and let me know!

Also, they are offering a new feature where you can use your blog's RSS feed to send out emails to your list when you do new posts, it is $5 a month. Would that be something that you guys would like? If so let me know in the comments!
