Featured Collectible - Vinegar Valentines or Penny Dreadfuls
Oh yes, the beautiful, sappy, make you *swoon* Valentine's cards are nice, but my heart of hearts truly belongs to the mischievous vintage Valentines known as Vinegar Valentines or Penny Dreadfuls. Apparently they first started to become popular in the late 1800's, and remained so through the first part of the 20th century, and were often sent anonymously to poke fun at certain types of annoying people.
