So, I dug out a box of paper that I apparently stashed away on a shelf back in 2012. Yes, 2012. When I say my stockpile of paper is never ending, I'm not exaggerating! ;) Anyway, I would say the box was about 80% school posters, which I started to list on Etsy this week. I haven't decided yet what to do with the rest of them, if I will list them individually on Etsy like I did these, or if I will lot them up and put them on eBay. I'm going to get that box emptied out one way or the other though!
I've been on a kick of listing my items straight to fixed price lately - I don't know how long this whim will last. I have a feeling once sale season kicks into high gear - which is soon, yay!! - I'll probably start listing auctions again. Right now I'm just wanting to get the stuff up there so people can buy it, no waiting!
I tackled my stash of vintage purses, plus a few other fun things I've picked up at estate sales lately...
It's Spring!!! I can't tell you how happy this makes me - sale season is right around the corner! To celebrate I am having a 20% off sale in my Etsy shop - just enter the coupon code SPRING2014 when you checkout! The discount applies to the item price only, and is good through April 21st. If there is something you've had your eye on, now's the time to grab it! :)
So who else is chomping at the bit for garage sale season to get here? Here in Ohio we've got about another month until the weather is (usually) nice enough for the sales to start up in earnest. There have been a few estate sales this winter, but not a ton, so my waiting to be listed on eBay pile is woefully small... I did get some auctions up this week though!
At an estate sale last weekend I scooped up a bunch of Syroco - if you've followed the blog for any length of time at all, you know my love for Syroco knows no bounds. I have a few larger pieces that I am going to be trying in the booth first - some flowers, a 3 candle wall sconce, and a key, to be specific. The rest I threw up at auction:
February was a bit better than January, hooray! Here's the latest photos I have of the booth, I took these the first weekend in March:
The orange La-Z-Boy rocking recliner from 1978 sold like 3 days after I put it in the booth - I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Craig's List ad that I created for it probably brought the sale. It isn't included on this February report though since it sold the first week of March... I wish I had more of them! ;)
