New On eBay - 1970's Heavy Metal Magazines


Here is a find that I had to almost literally pry out of my boyfriend Will's greedy fingers - a big lot of 1970's Heavy Metal magazines. Billed as "The Adult Illustrated Fantasy Magazine" it is pretty risque - so is the movie that was made in 1981, based on the magazines. If you have ever lived with a person of the male persuasion, or if you actually are a person of the male persuasion, I would imagine you have seen it... ;)

New goodness at auction on eBay this week!

I didn't get a whole lot listed at auction this week - but, I put up two items that I think I can safely call my favorite finds of the year so far:



Animal Plackers - from American Greetings... Now, are those not the weirdest - but coolest - things you have seen in a while? 2 foot tall paper dead animal head decorations designed for kids parties? They must not have been very popular, because I could find ZERO mention of them anywhere on the web. I saw them and I immediately though of the current taxidermy chic trend - these fit right in, only in a less creepy, more kitsch-tastic way... I was SO tempted to keep one, but made myself list them both!
