Featured Collectible - 1970's Typographic Kitchenware

My latest little obsession is kind of hard to label - 1970's Typographic Kitchenware was the closest I could get - hopefully it is close enough! What I mean is those mod canisters, jars, and serving pieces that like to scream their intended use in large, bold letters. I've sold a few pieces in the past, and the more I find them the more I love them... First let's look at a few things I have up for sale at the moment:

(These canisters and the McCoy cookie jar weren't made to go together - but man, they sure do!)

I looked around eBay for some other typographic goodness to drool over - but I couldn't really find any. This is happening to me a lot these days - are the sellers just not listing stuff, or am I just not able to find it? Who knows! What I do know is that a quick search on Etsy brought up a TON of cool stuff. Etsy rocks vintage - and more and more people are finding that out every day!

Ok, I could go on like this all day... you get the idea - love, love, love. :)

Labels are good. By the end of the day I'm so tired I need the containers to scream out at me....here I am!!! I am vinegar, hear me roar!!!

I love this vintage trend as well-
I picture an all white kitchen with open shelving and all these fun canisters 'speaking their purpose'!

Thanks for featuring some of my items here- much appreciated!

I love these self-proclaiming items as well... kind of reminds me of Alice in Wonderland for some reason. I have a sugar bowl with 'sugar' on it and several 'coffee' mugs. :)
